What does a community manager or digital executive do at Havas Riverorchid ?

Havas Riverorchid has been one of the earliest company to partner with Chandara Students Home and organized company visits, created content to prepare students for interviews or their first day at work.
They have hired some of our students like VARN Narin who is working as a community manager
or SOR Srey Leak as Digital Executive. 

VARN Narin, Community manager for Socialyse

Hello Everyone, 

This is Narin Varn. Currently, I am a year 4 student at the National University of Management. I'm going to graduate very soon. My everyday routine is about going to work during the day and studying in the evening. I study Tourism but I work in the Digital industry. Don't you think it is too difficult for me? Never!

Let me tell you about my career here: I work at Havas in Digital Marketing Advertisements on the Social Media platform (called Socialyse) in Cambodia and it is one of the biggest media companies worldwide . They have so many achievements and contracts and are very popular in digital marketing. The company deals with big clients in Cambodia as well as in Europe or other countries in Asia.

I have been working here for one year already as a community manager. I started as an intern for 6 months and then I became full time staff after proving my skills. Going from an internship to a staff position is not easy. It's hard work but I appreciated it.

My mission as a Community Manager is to respond to customer messages and comment on Facebook pages. I also coordinate with the digital team to manage the client's request. At Havas, we have clients from many industries and different scales. And for all of them, I manage their social media for. Can you imagine?

I can say I learn a lot from Havas. I started there with no experience. I didn’t even know how to talk to the clients. But work taught me and I learned from my team and my boss as well. Now I'm not yet an expert but I will become one soon.

Please work hard and smartly be patient and flexible.  The harder you work the better result you will get. 

SOR Sreyleak, a digital executive for Socialyse

My name is Srey Leak. I’m a fourth-year student at the National University of Management. I study Business Economics. I just joined Havas for 3 weeks now.

Havas is a digital marketing agency that works with many big brands.

At Havas, there is a digital executive team, creative team, and community manager team.

• Digital executives are the link between the client and internal teams.
• Creative teams are working on coming up with ideas for each campaign, design static, animated...
• Community managers are handling all the FB page comments of each brand.
  

As a digital executive, my missions are 

• to get the requirements from the client (what they want to do on the campaign for example) and pass the information to our teams to get the work in process, the quotation on the campaign and a working timeline. After the client confirms the proposal, I’m the one who need to follow up on everything to keep the campaign running on timeline.
  The example campaign I worked on: BA photo shoot, MV shooting, Music record, game, challenge…
• to keep the brand’s FB page alive by creating content and connect with the production team for the static/ animated video/video that needs to be posted on the FB page. 
• to make suggestion on Media plan (Boosting on FB, Tik Tok, Instagram, Eskimi)

As I had experience in working in digital marketing before, the working mission is not new to me but the brands that I’m working with are quite well-known and I learn more on how big brands work.
